Being a Model Being a model is a safe process in that our teachers are with the students at all times monitoring their every move. It allows people to take advantage of having permanent make-up at a reduced cost.
Models for our students are an integral part of this process and are treated in a professional manner in the same fashion as a full paying client.
Our students are taught how to interview, how to fill in medical histories and waivers and our models are an integral part
We offer an inexpensive plan for procedures being performed by our students in training. There is a small fee charged for the supplies, anesthetics, and new sterilised needles that are used in each procedure.
Supervision Procedures are performed by students who are in training under the strict supervision of our instructors. There are no guarantees as to how much color will stay and possible touch ups may be necessary at another training class.
Pain management The management of pain is effectively achieved with topical anesthetics. There is some discomfort in the beginning that lasts for only a minute or so.
Color and Shape The shape of the eyebrows and lip liner is always drawn on prior to the tattooing procedure. Once you have approved the shape and color we then continue with the actual tattooing Eyeliner for the upper and lower lids is tattooed along the lash line.
Touch ups Touch ups are available to be done at other training classes. There is an additional minimal fee for each touch up. The amount of touch up needed varies from procedure to procedure and from client to client.
Expectations Once the procedure is completed the freshly tattooed pigment is sitting close to the surface of the skin and therefore appears much darker than what it really is. Complete healing generally takes 3 to 4 weeks. For some, the first few days are a little overwhelming but the color always fades and buffs very naturally into the skin.
Post Care Treatment Home care is simple. The less you do the better the procedure will heal. An After Care Balm must be applied over the tattooed area many times a day for 2–3 weeks. This product is available at the academy and is purchased by you at the end of your appointment for a minimal charge.
Cost of Treatment There is a token fee of $ 100.00 per procedure that is charged to offset the cost of needles, anesthetic and supplies.
